The platform features an octa-core Kryo Gen 6 CPU running at up to 2.36 GHz, paired with an Adreno 663 GPU at 800 MHz, and supports up to 36 GB of LPDDR5 RAM with inline ECC. The dual Hexagon NPU configuration ensures sustained AI workloads run efficiently, even in thermally constrained environments.
Advanced Multimedia Capabilities
The integrated VPU supports decoding at resolutions up to 8K60 and encoding at 4K60, with codec support including AV1, H.264, H.265, VP9, and MPEG-2. This makes the IQ9 Series exceptionally well-suited for multi-camera machine vision systems and high-resolution video analytics.
Industrial-Grade Durability & Safety
The IQ9 Series operates across a wide temperature range of −40°C to +125°C and incorporates a high ball-pitch design that is resistant to vibration and shock. The QCS9100 variant includes a dedicated Safety Island (SAIL) with planned support for SIL3 safety certification, making it suitable for the most demanding functional safety requirements in automotive and industrial automation

The platform integrates 8× CAN-FD interfaces and dual 2.5 GbE networking, alongside support for USB 3.1, HDMI, and high-speed camera interfaces including GMSL and CSI — enabling rich, multi-peripheral system designs out of the box.
